ABOUT TRENDS AND FASHION || "You're the wind surfer crossing the ocean..."

In a radio interview, a journalist asked me if what I'm wearing was actually fashionable? I was dressed in pastels, like on the pictures in today's post. This made me think whether or not there is still something that is not fashionable? Unfashionable colour? Or style? After all, they are all reintepreted by designers, which gives them the status of being fashionable. Of course, some of them, like black-and-white stripes, is particularly emphasized in the media, while the other overlooked. I was about to shout: what about the short jackets / boleros? But they also appeared in the spring collections, such as in Roland Mauret. I guess I can say that I am a dinosaur, because I remember the days whens skinny jeans and flares couldn't occur simultaneously, like high-heeled shoes and wedges. Today we can put on literally anything, and a single thing can't determine whether something is trendy or not? So who or what can? In my subjective opinion, the whole view is decisive: styling, makeup and hair, but for whom the right to assess is reserved? I'll leave this question unanswered for now.
